Dontbelong With Max Supera

Max Supera was the bass player for Las Vegas band The Skooners when he began a live web series that he dubbed Dontbelong Radio. The show operated from his second story condo in east Las Vegas, and featured pre-recorded music, as well as live performances. Just as the show started gaining steam with listeners, his neighbors began making noise complaints to the police. I suggested moving the broadcast location to our studio where we could properly mic up the bands and furnish recordings afterwards. We relied heavily on an unwitting neighbor’s wireless connection. In attendance were members of other local Vegas acts that participated in a free jam after the bands performed. Bryan Todd brought cookies with cocaine in them.

MAX: I think they're doing vocal...

FUZZ: We just need a minute

MAX: Yeah

TOM: We're tweaking the knobs

MAX: Black Camaro's pinching nipples and tweaking knobs

FUZZ: We're eating cookies

SCOTT: Hey, I didn't get cookies

MAX: alright, Bryan Todd brought...some fucking awesome cookies. Should I be worried about these? Are these gonna change the rest of my night right now?

BG: Yes!

RICK: (in background) I saved you a cookie Scott x 2

TOM: Dude, that's got Oxycontin in it.

FUZZ: Sinister laugh

SCOTT: Yeah!

MAX: These are the best cookies...ever!

SCOTT: (laughing) I was saying that too

BG: (indistinguishable)

TOM: I agree the cookies were...the best

SCOTT: Actually I didn't, I thought they were just average...Nah, I'm kidding

FUZZ: Allright let's do this...Kill the man, Charles!
